INSTRUCTOR

Our professional, informative, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and passionate College graduate Instructor, who has a good moral character, has 15 years of safe driving experience. He has many years of experience teaching Behind the Wheel in the car to thousands of male and female Teens, from more than 50 public and private high schools across Ventura and L.A. Counties. He also possesses the traits required by the DMV licensed Instructor Training of 60 hours, and teaches Adults, male and female, foreign Nationals and employees on a work visa, and foreign students. Strictly no cursing and no yelling by the Instructor, at all, for any reason. Our Instructor has been through a Live Scan and criminal background check by the Department of Justice, meets the qualification standards set out in the DMV guidelines, and always wears professional business dress while training.

Our instructors are professional, courteous and respectful, and they put safety and integrity first in every lesson.

California law requires a licensed driving school to carry bodily injury and property damage insurance, and to keep its training vehicles in safe mechanical condition. We carry more cover than is required, for both the student and the instructor.

OUR VEHICLE

The car you will learn in:

  • Dual controls, so the instructor has his own brake from the first lesson
  • Insured as Vehicle Code 11103 requires, and maintained in safe mechanical condition as Vehicle Code 11109 requires of every licensed driving school
  • Non-smoking, and never smoked in
  • The same car you can use for your DMV drive test, so the examiner is not the first thing that is unfamiliar

The car has dual brakes on the driver and passenger sides for the Instructor, dual gas pedals on both sides, and an extra center-right mirror for the Instructor.

Most accidents are caused by people not paying attention to what they are doing, such as using cell phones or falling asleep at the wheel. Most accidents are the result of human error: misjudging road conditions or traffic behavior, double-mindedness on turns, stopping on a yellow light, aggressive behavior and distractions. Relatively more accidents are also caused by speeding, because teens tend to drive over the limit. Fewer accidents these days are caused by mechanical failure of the vehicle itself. In summary, accidents are generally caused by people. Alcohol, and prescription or over-the-counter medicines, also play a major part in causing accidents. We teach you not only how to get your DMV license but how to keep it for the rest of your life, avoiding accidents and tickets from the Police Dept. While driving it is important to read the signs, the signal lights and the different colors of the curb when parking. In our curriculum we teach how to react in different situations, so students can predict hazards and react accordingly.

Only Life Safety Driving School, your local school, can provide all of this at the lowest affordable price without forcing you to pay the full amount for the course. You pay as you take lessons.
